New Delhi: Indian social activist Anna Hazare has ended the hunger strike today after the Indian government agrees to accept the key demands against the Anti-Corruption Bill, but vowed that his fight against corruption would continue.
The 74-year old Hazare broke the fast by coconut water and honey as the hunger strike was going on for the last 13 days at New Delhi’s Ram Laela ground along with thousands of people.
Speaking to public after ending the strike, Hazare said that they supported us in hunger strike and it is their triumph.
Signifying the media support, Hazare said that media were continuously with us day and night so it is also their triumph.
He said the youth played a great role for the success of his movement and now the battle for change had begun because many people selling the commodity of ‘education’.
Indian activist said that the election system must be change and the option of dislike also be included into ballot paper so politicians must know that people don’t like them.
