New Delhi: German luxury carmaker BMW has launched its latest sports utility vehicle (SUV) X3 in India offering more comforts than its predecessor X1. The car is priced between Rs 4.12 million and Rs 4.79 million.
The month of August has witnessed the launch of 10 cars, which denotes that there would be a heavy competition in the domestic car industries. BMW India has launched X3 especially to compete with Audi, which has dominated the premium SUV segment with its Q5 and Q7. The SUV Q5 is available only at Rs 4.3 lakh.
The BMW has offered two diesel engines for X3 dropping the idea of offering the petrol engine. However, it would be a tough competition between BMW and Audi as the consumers’ first choice is the price and the features. No doubt, both the giants will offer the best features, but the price matters more than anything.
However, BMW never makes compromise in features and design. The company had launched X1 last December, which is the cheapest-luxury car in India.
