Islamabad: Deputy Secretary General of PML-N, Ahsan Iqbal has severely reprimanded Zardari-regime’s imprudent and inept governance, triggering worst political/economical crisis in history of federation.
In his statement, he lambasted government’s changing of Sindh governance system thrice, just in a week, as if playing musical chairs; a factor, which contributed to administrative anarchy and chaos of the worst kind, ever.
He severely criticized government for issuing a spate of notifications and ordinances, as if it was running a primary school, and stressed that government should accept its great political blunder of introducing the notorious and controversial commissionerate system in the first place; followed by pouring oil over simmering flames by terminating it.
He said that this summersault of the government in Sindh affairs is a clear indication of the fact that government simply lacked any vision and ability of prudent governance.
Iqbal also criticized the fact that special associates of President Zardari made the deal with MQM, instead of Sindh government; which was but a candid indication of as to who was the real governing power of Sindh.
“As such, the government should also gladly accept the responsibility of thousands of innocent deaths, which occurred because of the sudden and unexpected U-turn in government’s policies”, he reasoned.
Citing the fact that despite all the political parties inside Sindh assembly were either a part of Sindh government or coalition partners, (still) any failure was due to the fact that these political parties had sheltered criminal elements within their folds.
He also accused government of avoiding briefings to national assembly, over fears of truth being uncovered, and which would also exposed the hidden/sheltered criminal elements within its folds.
