Violence claimed 16 more lives on Saturday in Karachi, the financial hub of the country, said police sources.

Body of a 24-year-old man was found from Defence Phase VIII. His identity is yet to be ascertained. An unidentified man was killed in Bokhari Colony.
Four people were injured in firing in Gulistan-e-Johar. They were shifted to hospital.
In Raees Amrohvi Colony of Orangi Town, unidentified men killed Zahid, a cable operator. The deceased was affiliated with a political party. Political workers forced the bazaars of the area to shut down.
In Pak Colony, assailants fired at a coaster and killed two brothers, Sadaqat and Murtaza.
One man was killed near Safora Chowrangi.
Two tortured bodies were found from Shah Faisal Colony.
