Karachi: Every human being in the world reserves rights of justice, same like this some 152 souls of deadly plane crash in Pakistan were still waiting for justice despite passing a year.
Bereaved families of Air Blue plane that crashed on 28 July 2010 have demanded government that provide them justice.
The affected families of the ill-fated flight no ED-202 held a press conference at Karachi Press Club, demanding compensation by making the issuance of Section Certificate.
On Wednesday more than 3,000 family members of the unfortunate plane through their selves constituted ‘Air Blue Crash Affectees’ marked first anniversary of Ari Blue plane crash tragedy.
The bereaved families demanded that publically show the report prepared by Safety Investigation Board (SIB) of Civil Aviation and submitted to government of Pakistan. They alleged that delaying tactics were being used by suspending the report.
It is pertinent to mention here that investigation report of Civil Aviation Authority’s SIB had been forwarded to the federal government through Defence Ministry of Pakistan.
One of the affected fathers who lost his young son told The News Tribe (TNT) that they have appealed twice to Chief Justice of Pakistan for taking a suo moto action but due to unidentified reason the appeals have been not accepted. He told that they also tried to appeal in Sindh and Peshawar high courts but remained failed.
Another affected family’s head, Junaind Hamid, told TNT that getting compensating was impossible without issuance of ‘Section Certificate’. He told that the only 30 to 35 affected families out of 152 have yet received the compensation because procedure of getting the certificate has been made very complicated.
According the TNT Karachi correspondent lawyers were also taking 3 to 5 lakh instead of their legal fees of Rs 15,000 to 25,000 for proving assistance in issuing Section Certificate.
Meanwhile, Air Blue had announced special flight and six hours stay in a luxury hotel in Islamabad for the affected families to celebrate the first anniversary of their love ones but the affectees said that they were not taken into confidence by Air Blue administration. They said that delaying tactics have been used for the day first.
They asked the administration that is ‘Fatiha’ possible in 2 to 3 hours?
Civil Aviation Authority sources told The News Tribe that in the covered report, pilot of the ill-fated Air Blue flight was held responsible of the incident.
Veteran pilots think that government searching fleeing tactics by holding the pilot responsible and it has become history that in every air crash pilots have been held responsible without any investigation.
The bereaved families also lighted candles near Sindh Governor House in the remembrance of their love ones. The affected families said that they would also record their protest in federal capital for seeking justice.
Father of young Rubab, who also lost her life in the tragedy, told that neither government nor opposition did positive job in the matter.
