The bereaved families demanded that publically show the report prepared by Safety Investigation Board (SIB) of Civil Aviation and submitted to government of Pakistan. They alleged that delaying tactics were being used by suspending the report.

It is pertinent to mention here that investigation report of Civil Aviation Authority’s SIB had been forwarded to the federal government through Defence Ministry of Pakistan.

One of the affected fathers who lost his young son told The News Tribe (TNT) that they have appealed twice to Chief Justice of Pakistan for taking a suo moto action but due to unidentified reason the appeals have been not accepted. He told that they also tried to appeal in Sindh and Peshawar high courts but remained failed.

Another affected family’s head, Junaind Hamid, told TNT that getting compensating was impossible without issuance of ‘Section Certificate’. He told that the only 30 to 35 affected families out of 152 have yet received the compensation because procedure of getting the certificate has been made very complicated.

Meanwhile, Air Blue had announced special flight and six hours stay in a luxury hotel in Islamabad for the affected families to celebrate the first anniversary of their love ones but the affectees said that they were not taken into confidence by Air Blue administration. They said that delaying tactics have been used for the day first.

They asked the administration that is ‘Fatiha’ possible in 2 to 3 hours?

Civil Aviation Authority sources told The News Tribe that in the covered report, pilot of the ill-fated Air Blue flight was held responsible of the incident.

Veteran pilots think that government searching fleeing tactics by holding the pilot responsible and it has become history that in every air crash pilots have been held responsible without any investigation.
