Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that Pakistan desired productive and result oriented talks with India.
Talking to media a day head of her visit to India to held talks with her Indian counterpart SM Krishna, she said expectations from the dialogue should be realistic and pragmatic. She added that both the countries should learn from history.
Replying a query regarding Kashmir issue, She said that Pakistan’s stand on Kashmir was well established, adding that Kashmiri leadership would also be involved in the talks. The minister added that India and Pakistan were committed to uninterrupted peace process and both the countries were responsible countries. Khar said that all the political leadership in the country, including Nawaz Sharif, Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had been taken into confidence in line with the talks and all the political forces were backing the process.
