Karachi: The I.G Sind has termed the violence in the biggest city and economic hub of Pakistan to be the result of political clash.
In a statement the I.G Sindh Wajid Durrani termed the recent spate of killings to be the outcome of clash between two political groups and not the result of target killings.
The I.G Sindh said that no evidence of foreign involvement in Karachi has been found. He further added that land mafia was responsible for the deteriorating situation in Kati Pahari and its surrounding areas.
Over 20 people have died in the fresh wave of violence that has gripped the city.
