Lahore: Pakistan’s Senior Minister Pervaiz Elahi has said that PML-Q and PPP have agreed to make new provinces in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa.
He said that a pact has been finalised in this regard between the two parties.
While talking to a private Pakistani news channel, PML-Q leader said that his party and PPP would be allies in next general elections added that proposed grand alliance has been collapsed before its fabrication.
The minister said that Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain has played a key role to confiscate misunderstandings between PPP and MQM and reconciliation policy of President Asif Ali Zardari would be useful for Karachi.
Pervaiz Elahi said that PML-Q joined the Sindh cabinet after that his party has representation in all four provinces.
He said new provinces of south Punjab and Hazara was mission of PML-Q and PPP would support this challenge.
The PML-Q leader said the government has decided to provide relief to a common man during holy month of Ramadhan and subsidy would be given on 14 food items in this regard.
