Washington: Admiral Mike Mullen has alleged that Saleem Shahzad, a Pakistani journalist, was murdered on behalf of Pakistani government.
While talking to reporters in Washington, US Joint Chief of Staff Committee, said that Pakistani’s Inter-Service Intelligence could not be held responsible of Shahzad’s murder.
Pakistani government was doing mistakes by doing such things, he said, added that government could not be run by pressing journalists down.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saleem Shahdaz was associated with Asia Times Online and Italian news agency Adnkronos International, was kidnapped from Islamabad two days before his death. His torture marks body was recovered from Punjab.
