Karachi: The Inspector General (IG) Police Sindh Wajid Durani on Friday said that strategy has been prepared to control law and order situation in Karachi, the financial hub of Karachi.
While talking to media men during his visit to Capital Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) office Karachi, Durrani said that it was difficult to halt cross firing. He further said that if police had not taken in-time action, armed clashes would have continued for six more days. The Rangers will be called where it is needed, he added.
He said his current transfers do not mean launching of operation.
CPLC chief Ahmed Chanai said that the IGP Sindh had plan for the establishment of Special Eagle Force and Community Police.
