Rawalpindi: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday that the Pakistan Army supported formation of an independent commission into the US raid in Abbottabad that led to killing of al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.
ISPR spokesman Major Gen Athar Abbas said that the army supported the proposal of forming commission in the closed-door session of the parliament and other platforms subsequently.
Meanwhile, according to a statement issued by the ISPR 426 Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) families have been returned safely to their homes in recently cleared areas (Bar Chamarkand and Alif Gar) of Mohmand Agency, affected by the military offensive against militants, by Security Forces. Total 4017 members including 1033 males, 986 females, 1998 children returned back. The IDPs have appreciated the Security Forces role of evicting terrorists from the area.
