Karachi: Firing incidents continued in parts of Orangi town on Tuesday taking the death toll to 15 since Monday.
Violence erupted inĀ Qasba colony, Ali Garh and other parts of Orangi town on Monday after the killing of a political activist.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on pedestrians and passersby killing 15 and injuring several others. Markets and business centers were closed in the affected areas while roads wore deserted look as panic gripped the locals.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Awami National Party are blaming each other for the deteriorating law and order situation in the metroplis.
The MQM on Tuesday staged walk out in Senate and National Assembly in protest against the targeted killing.
On the other hand the ANP also convened meeting of its parliamentary committee in Islamabad in the wake of Karachi situation.
