Islamabad: Supreme Court of Pakistan has released its detailed judgement in the case of Sarfraz Shah, who was killed by Rangers personnel in Karachi on Wednesday, terming the incident an open barbarism.
The detailed report issued on late Friday said that there was a contradiction between FIR and reality. Not a single word was reported in the FIR regarding Sarfraz Shah, it said.
It said that one Rangers personnel shot and injured Sarfraz. He was requesting mercy for his life and lost his live in front of Rangers and police personnel. Unfortunately Rangers and Police officials present at the spot did not help him, the report said.
The report said that it was the responsibility of DG Rangers Sindh and Police officials to take the notice of the incident.
According to the constitution of Pakistan, save the lives of masses was an utmost obligation of state. The report said the reality was something else that was an open violation of Article 9 of the constitution of Pakistan.
The detailed report said that law enforcing agencies were trying to hide reality of the case.
Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the trail court to conclude the case within 30 days.
