Islamabad: Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar said that he was not taken into confidence over the probe commission formed by the government to investigate Abbottabad operation.
Talking to reporters on Wednesday he said that he had demanded an independent commission in the light of resolution passed by the joint session of the parliament. Â He added that the prime minister did not take me into confidence over the commission.
The government on Tuesday constituted an independent six-member commission to probe the Abottabad operation, conducted by the US special commandos on May 2 that led to the death of Osama bin Laden.
The commission was formed following a unanimous resolution passed in a joint session of the parliament of Pakistan. The commission is headed by supreme court justice Javed iqbal comprising Justice (Retd) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, Lieutenant General (Retd) Nadeem Ahmed, former diplomat Ashraf Jahangir, former Inspector General (IG) Police Abbas Khan and federal secretary cabinet division Nargis Sethi.
