Karachi: A district and session court on Tuesday acquitted Ajmal Pahrai, allegedly involved in more than 100 targeted killings, in a murder case for want of evidence.
Police presented the accused before the Judge Riaz Siddiqui amid tight security where he was acquitted as the police remained failed to produce substantial proves against him.
He was booked by Rizvia Police in a murder case in 2008 in which the police could not produce evidences.
Karachi has been witnessing coldblooded targeted killings, largely blamed on political rivals, since long while police and law enforcement agencies appears to be failed providing any respite to the people of the metropolis, home to at least 20 million people and commercial hub of the nuclear nation.
