Damascus: At least eight people, protesting against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, were killed and over hundred injured by the security forces on Sunday amid swift operation against anti government protests at several towns.
Syrian forces with the support of gunship helicopters, tanks and armed vehicles charged Rastan, Talbiseh, Homs and other towns to curb anti government protest demonstrations and rallies. .
Death toll has been crossed by one thousand, since the protest demonstrations surfaced against the present government regime in mid-March.
