Sawat: One of the three wanted Pakistanis, Amina Bibi, has categorically denies the US charges of providing financial assistance to Taliban, saying all these claims are baseless and unjustified.
While addressing a press conference in Swat on Sunday she said that nor she neither any of her family member ever supported Taliban. She said her father, Hafiz Sher Ali Khan, who along with his two sons was arrested by the FBI agents on Saturday, never ever supported Taliban.
She said she had visited the United States five years ago to meet her father who had been serving in Miami as imam for at least last 17-years. She said her father along with other family relatives have moved to the US some 18-year ago. She said US propaganda is nothing except discrediting Islam.
Amina who runs a female-child mudrassah (seminary) in Sarsanai village of Swat said her father, Hafiz Khan, sent money for running home and also sent the seminary expenditures from the US. Neighbours know very well about our activities and characters, she maintained.
