Washington: Pakistani Ambassador to Washington Hussain Haqqani on Thursday said Pakistan has strong reservations over the unilateral operation by US Navy Seals that shot Osama Bin Laden dead.
The US should be criticized over the operation, he said, added that Pakistan is being criticized by the US media over the issue. Government of Pakistan would not compromise over the country’s interest and sovereignty.
Earlier, Haqqani said that China had no interest in the wreckage of a US helicopter used in the Abbottabad operation. And Pakistan was not going to share any technology with China and China had also not shown any interest in doing so.
He said that Pakistan has severe reservations on the unilateral actions by the United States, but Pakistan is in contacts with the United States on government, intelligence and military levels.
He further said that the US should work with Pakistan instead of proving it as a bad guy.
