Jeddah: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that presence of Al Qaeda’s Head Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan is a failure of intelligence agencies likewise American agencies were failed on 9/11.
While giving an interview to a Saudi newspaper during his visit to the country Malik said sometime it happens that intelligence agencies were failed, but it does not mean that intelligence agencies provide support to terrorists.
Malik questioned those were claiming Pakistani intelligence agencies that who was supporting Osama Bin Laden during the invasion of Russia on Afghanistan?
He said Bin Laden was not supported by Pakistani intelligence agencies and no one would be resigning from his post. He further asked that how many Americans were resigned after 9/11 tragedy.
The minister said that Bin Laden’s family was in Pakistan’s custody but numbers could not be informed.
He said after Abottabad operation DG ISI Ahmed Shuja Pasha did not go to America, and fulfilling his duties in the country. He also said that there is lack of trust between Pakistan and the US’s relationship but it is not the time to criticizing each others.
