Islamabad: Pakistani radars on western border were remained closed, not jammed during the swift operation of the US marines to hit Osama bin Ladan, revealed a part of local Media on Friday.
Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman has confessed the responsibility of the US helicopters’ invasion in the country and told the government that the theory about jamming radars is falsely portrayed by the US government.
Closure of radars was a technical mistake. Usually radars on western borders were used to remain close because of their limited hours’ lives. Besides this in Pakistani officials’ opinion the western borders of the country were safe as compare to eastern borders where India is located, because of presence of its allies in the neighbor country, local print media revealed with the reference of defense sources.
The Pakistani government has been told boldly that Pakistan has the ability to shoot down drones and it had demonstrated its capability in past when an Indian drone was destroyed in the air, adding that the Pakistani air force will never disappoint the nation, if the elected government allows it to do so.
The defence sources further said that the statements of the CIA Chief and other high officials of the US, had compelled the Pakistani High Profile political and Armed leadership to think about differentiating their friends and enemies.
The discussion of the sources, placed nearer to high profile officials of the forces indicates that the Pakistani forces has adopted a fresh stance that the world would observe the genuine retaliation of Pakistan, if the practice of recent invasion is repeated.
