Karachi: Sindh National Front Chief Mumtaz Butto has said that his party was ready to make an alliance with any patriotic political force which is against of corruption, nepotism, embezzlement and deteriorating law and order.
While talking to media after a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and adviser to Punjab chief minister, Zulfiqr Khosa, Bhtto on Friday said that alliance could be made for the betterment of the country.
Replying a question he said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was not a ‘Bhutto’ as he belonged to Zardari clan, adding that he has no objection if Bilawal enters in politics but he should not use name of Bhutto,
Mumtaz Bhutto,one of the aides of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto said that rulers were plundering the national wealth in the name of Bhutto.
Replying another question Bhutto said that if Fatima Bhutto, a granddaughter of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, decided to play an active role in the politics he would support her as she belongs to him.
Earlier on Thursday, a PML-N committee comprising senior leaders of the PML-N, including Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa and Afzal Rahu was formed to make an alliance with the nationalists parties of Sindh, in a bid to give tough time to the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
The PML-N move came at the time when the PPP has embroiled on plan to make a “so called” national government and have worked out a power sharing formula with the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) in the wake of upcoming budget which would be hard to get approved from the parliament in the present political scenario.
