Multan: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that all the leadership of the country was in favour of establishing Siraiki province and no one should oppose the demand.
While talking to Media here on Friday Gilani said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would include the demand of the province in its manifesto.
Gilani said that Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) was in talks with President Asif Ali Zardari, adding that the government was carrying forward the policy of reconciliation, inviting all the political parties to make economic program to steer the country out of crises.
“We want to take political leadership onboard for economic stability” the prime minister added.He said that slot of vice prime minister could be created after amending the Constitution.
Gilani said that the PPP had a clear policy against US drone attacks while Pakistan was doing work on diplomatic fronts to address the issue.
He said that loadshedding was adversely affecting industries and agriculture in the country, vowing the government would end the power crises.
He said that Pakistan supported the Afghan reconciliation. The premier appreciated restoration of peace talks between Pakistan and India.
