Lahore: Indian Secretary Commerce Dr Rahul Khullar has termed his two-day trade talks with his Pakistani counterpart Zafar Mehmood as successful and pledged to share good news, by September this year.
Speaking to media at the airport before leaving for India he said that future was discussed between both the countries for the first time in the history. “We have to work on improving bilateral relations forgetting the past” he added. We should be eying forward leaving the past behind.
Rahul said that Pakistan and India agreed to remove trade hurdles and issues like easing visa policy and mutual trade would be addressed.
He said that India assist Pakistan in power, petroleum and other sectors.
