Lahore: Following the allegations of Zulqarnain Haider, former Pakistani wicket keeper who fled London through Dubai during the series against South Africa in Dubai, Kamran Akmal’s father-in-law Aslam Khan has claimed indemnity against Haider.
Layer of Mohammad Ilyas, father-in-law of Kamran Akmal, claimed indemnity of Rs 150 million over baseless allegation against his client. Haider has been given 10 days for apologizing otherwise he should be ready for giving indemnity, the lawyer added.
The lawyer said that indemnity of Rs 100 million would also be claimed against private TV channel and news channel who run and published the news without justification.
Earlier, Kamran Akmal has also declared the Haider statement as baseless allegation and said it is an bid to discredit his in-laws and conspiracy against him. He said everyone who would accuse baseless allegations against him and his in-laws would must be brought before justice.
