Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government adopted legal way to file reference in the Supreme Court, seeking to reopen Bhutto case.
Addressing a press conference after attending meeting of the cabinet on Wednesday that was convened with regard to the presidential reference, she said that the cabinet approved five legal questions of law which would be produced before the court on Thursday.
Awan said that the PPP wanted court’s injustices with party to be redressed.
On a question she said that the PPP was following the politics of reconciliation, however the idea of forming national government was yet ambiguous.
The minister said that the government was holding talks with all the political parties.
Replying another query she said that the PPP was in negotiations with the PML-Q, adding that the PML-Q was not that party that was being headed by former military ruler Pervez Musharraf, instead it was a new PML-Q. Rival and friends always changed in the politics, she added.
