Islamabad: Senator Mola Bux Chandio has been nominated as the new Pakistan Law Minister after former law minister Babar Awan resigned to plead Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, founding leader of Pakistan People’s Party, reference case in Supreme Court (SC)
Pakistan People’s Party’s senator from Sindh, Mola Bux Chandio, will take a oath on Saturday however, Pakistan president and prime minister have also approved the name of Chandio, sources said.
The sources said that president Asif Ali Zardari approved the name of Chanidio after the advise of prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
The newly elected law minister would take part in the meeting of judicial commission on Saturday.
While, Advocate Farooq Awan, the younger brother of former law minister Babar Awan, will be adviser to law the new elected law minister.
