Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency on Saturday submitted compliance report over the arrest warrants of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf in Benazir murder case to an anti-terrorism court .
FIA director Khalid Zia also submitted to the court Agency’s correspondence with the British Home Department regarding arrest warrants for Musharraf, who has been living in Britain.
The FIA prosecute informed the court that process was underway regarding compliance of the Musharraf’s warrants.
Former President Pervez Musharraf was booked in the assassination case of former prime minister and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Benazir Bhutto, who was killed on Dec 27,2007 in Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi in a shooting and suicide attack when she was leaving Liaquat Bagh after addressing a public meeting.
The court adjourned the hearing till April 23.
