Karachi: Brother of SHO Super Marker Police Station, Liaquatabad Karachi, the southern city of Pakistan, has been shot dead in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town on Thursday late night, police said.
Police said the incident took place in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town when unidentified miscreant shot dead Naveed Khan, brother of SHO Super Market Liaquatabad, and fled.
SHO Super Market Police Station Shafiq Tanoli is investigating the murder case of Wali Khan Babar, a news reporter of private Pakistani TV channel who was shot dead on January 13 in Liaquatabad while returning home after reporting.
Tanoli said he was given threats regarding investigating the of Wali Khan Babar case.
Earlier in the day, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Karachi Owais Leghari while addressing a press conference had disclosed that police have arrested five accused involved in the murder of Wali Khan Babar. He said some 18 persons were involved in the killing of Babar.
