Brussels: The Nato has decided to take command of mission against Libya and it would take over the mission of imposing a no-fly zone within 48 hours, said Nato spokesman here on Friday.
The spokesman said that cargo planes could be inter in Libya airspace after the Nato’s permission.
He added that Arab countries would also take part in the mission.
Earlier, Nato Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has said that all of Nato had agreed to the move, including Turkey, which had expressed doubts over strikes on a fellow Muslim country.
“The fact is that in Nato we take all decisions by consensus and the decision we are taking today to enforce a no-fly zone is also taken by a consensus which means that all 28 allies support that decision,” he had told a British TV.
