Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has submitted an adjournment motion in the National Assembly, the lower house of the Pakistani parliament, over Thursday’s US drone strike in North Waziristan, in which 42 tribesmen were killed and several injured.
The motion condemning the attack noted that whole the nation was dishearted by the US drone strike .
President Asif Ali Zardari has convened NA session on March 28.
Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan Army Chief in his rare condemnation statement said that the drone attacks were intolerable, while the Pakistan’s foreign office had also sought US apology over the attack.
Religious parties are holding nationwide protest demonstrations against the release of CIA contractor Raymond Davis and the drone attack, on Friday.
