South Waziristan: In the three United States unmanned drone strikes in South Waziristan, the tribal area of Pakistan, killed at least seven people and several others wounded on Sunday, local officials said.
In the first attack the US drone fired two missiles on a vehicle in Azam Warsak area which killed two people present in the vehicle died on the spot, The News Tribe correspondent reported.
Local sources said that the drone fired another fire another missile on a vehicle, but six people managed to escape.
In the second attack, two US drones fired four missiles in a vehicle in Qutub Khail some five kilometer from Miran Shah. As a result, five people died on the spot and several others injured.
The US drone have carried out 18 attacks so far in this year.
