New Delhi: The petroleum prices in India sustain despite the increasing prices of crude oil in Global markets, in sharps contrast of the neighboring country where the government has announced a whooping 10 percent increase in prices of petroleum products.
Indian State-owned Oil Corporation claimed that it was suffering a loss of Rs3 per litre but the decision of increasing the oil priced would be taken at suitable time.
Petroleum Minister Jay Paul Rady told the parliament that no decision was taken regarding the hike in petroleum prices; however, he said the elected representatives of the people would be taken into confidence before the decision of increase in oil prices.
