Washington: United States President Barack Obama on Thursday expressed concerns over Libyan,s situation and strongly condemned the bloodshed and violence in the country.
He said this in a press conference. He said the US would support Libyans because freedom of expression is a universal rights and no one can suppress the human rights of the people.
Obama said the situation in Libya is not only a matter of concern for the US but also unacceptable for the whole world. All the world including the USÂ is watching the situation of the country and standing with the Libyans.
He said the US respects the aspiration of the Libyans and Gaddafi should also meet their responsibilities for the protect of the people.
He directed Secretary of the US Hilary Clinton to raise voice for the rights of the Libya in Geneva convention.
