Sri Lanka: Sri Lank beat Canada by 210 runs in a group match of Cricket World Cup 2011 at Mahinda Rajapaksy International Stadium on Sunday.Sri Lankan captain Kumara Sangakara won the toss and elected to bat first. Sri Lanka scored 333 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs.
Mahela Jayawerdene smashed 100 runs on 81 balls while skipper Sangakara hit 92 runs. Dilshan managed to scored 50 runs.
HS Baidwan and JM Davison grabbed two wickets each while Rizwan Cheema got one.
From Canadian side only Rizwan Cheema offered some resistance to Sri Lankan bowlers and scored 37 runs. The team was all out for 122 runs.
Kulasekara and Perera picked three wickets each. Muralitharan grabbed two wickets, while Mendis and Samaraveera got one each.
Jayawerdene was declared man of the match.
