Islamabad: Judicial Commission on judges appointment headed by Chief Justice on Saturday deferred issue of two ad hoc judges ,Khalilur Rehman Ramday and Rehmat Hussain Jafri, apparently due to reservations expressed by Supreme Court Bar Association and top lawyers of the country.
The Judicial Commission met under the chairmanship of chief justice to consider the appointment of two ad hoc judges of the Supreme Court and confirmation of nine additional judges of the Sindh High Court.
The JC gave an extension to six additional judges of Sindh High Court while names of three judges were dropped from the consideration.
SCBA President Asma Jahangir has hailed the deferring of reappointment of the two judges and appreciated the JC decision.
