Rahim Yar Khan:Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has once again vowed that the government would remove sense of depriviation and poverty of Southern Punjab.
Addressing a public meeting here on Saturday he said that crimes and terrorism were the biggest problems of Southern Punjab, adding that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif should take steps to eliminate the crimes.
The prime minister added that the Rangers would be deployed to stop kidnapping for ransom in the region, adding that if needed extreme measures would be taken against crimes.
He added that all the political forces were united against terrorism and lawlessness.
Gilani reiterated that the Pakistan Peoples Party had restored judiciary besides passing 18the and 19th amendments of the Constitutions.
“Judiciary and democracy are restored in the country while all the institutions are strong” The premier added.
He said that at the time when the PPP came in to power there were acute shortage of flour in the country and after three years the government was exporting the commodity as it was available in large quantity.
