Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Saturday that he did not quarrel with former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi regarding Raymond Davis issue.
Talking to media Malik said that no diplomat could travel keeping unlicensed arms in Pakistan, adding that Interior Ministry issued visa to the US national according to rules and regulations.
He said that passport of Davis was in the custody of Punjab government and he had not sought his passport.
Malik maintained that Punjab government would be provided with assistance regarding Davis case adding that he had never intended to release the US killer.
He said that he was in constant communication with the provincial government over the case.
Replying a query the minister said that independent police officers were assigned to investigate the BB assassination case and they independently put up challan in the special court.
Referring law and order in Karachi Malik said that target killing has come to an end and he would leave for the metropolis to address extortion issue.
He said that he would meet the chief minister and home minister Sindh to discuss the issue.
