London: Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt, who has been banned for 10 years by ICC, has landed a new job working as a television pundit in his home country during the Cricket World Cup.
“I got a good offer. Since I’m doing nothing I thought it would allow me to test a new area,” said the 26-year-old.
“We have signed him up purely as a cricket expert,” said Channel 5.
The Pakistan Cricket Board, which has terminated Butt’s central contract, refused to comment on the appointment.
