New Delhi: THE SRI Lankan High Commissioner in New Delhi on Wednesday denied that his country attacked the Indian fisherman at sea.With this denial suspicions have raised as an unknown third party may have been involved in the attack.
Speaking to media in Chennai capital of Tamil Nadu state High Commissioner Prasad kariyawasam said that his country’s Navy would nor fire at Indian fishermen even if they had crossed the maritime boundry and suspected the role of some other group behind the attack.
He said that Sri Lanka was equally concerned over the incident and expressed hope that investigation by both the governments would soon find the real culprits responsible for the attack.
