Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday directed the Federal Commerce Minister Amin Fahim to take steps for greater market access of local products to new markets abroad.The federal minister called on the prime minister at the PM House here. The prime minister said that the export-led growth would help in employment generation and poverty alleviation and added that import of Pakistani products by European countries was in line with the government’s policy for enhanced trade with the world.
He said that the policy would help the government to rehabilitate the flood victims, adding that his government believed in “trade not aid”.
