Karachi: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that a number of target killers have been arrested.
He was talking to the media at the Karachi airport on Thursday. Malik said that he had visited the city on the directives of the prime minister, adding that he has no intention to intervene in the administrative affairs of the province.
He said that it was correct that Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza was not taken into confidence before the operation as he was in Dubai when the action was launched.
Replying to a query, Malik denied that police had raided the Nabeel Gabol’s residence, saying only police guards were withdrawn.
He said that no amendment would be made in the blasphemy law.
