Lucknow: At least 10 people were killed and several injured when a bus plunged into a river in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi District Saturday, said police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Araj said the accident took place in the Kapsethi area when the bus fell into the Varuna River. As a result, 10 people died on the spot, while several people received injuries.
Rescue team rushed the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to nearby hospital.
