FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) think tanks and experts have failed to show ‘final-shaped plan’ to eliminate electricity crisis in Pakistan.
PML-N experts have failed to finalise any appropriate plan for the elimination of electric crisis and all temporary plans are being subjected with international aid.
The only solution, derived by the experts till yet, is to be focused upon the Saudi Arabian government borrowed oil and construction of mini dams in Pakistan by USAID fundings.
Previously PML-N top leaderships vowed to break the begging bowl in opposition of the trend selected by previous government.
According to sources, PML-N’s central management stopped all other party leaders to give specific date to end load shedding and also directed to care while facing public meetings or media.
According to sources closer to PML-N formed committee to counter Pakistan’s energy crisis, the entire figure of electricity shortage around the country is 6000 mega watts while only Punjab province is facing at least 3800 mega watts shortage as the province is using 63% part of overall generated electricity due to huge industrial zone but the maximum capacity to generate additional electricity is 1000 mega watts only.
The sources added that not more than 800 mega watts could be generated in coming six months after spending at least $500 million on self-made electricity plans while the exact shortfall figure of only Punjab is more.
PML-N leadership and energy committee had already warned by the officials of Ministry of Water & Power as well as electric supplying corporation for of an expected extreme electricity crisis in Pakistan in coming two months.
The officials presented a one-agenda-solution to maintain continuous supply of gas and oil to electric power house while in cost estimation it is calculated approximately up to 70 billion. Otherwise, the duration for load shedding will rise up to 12 hours daily.
PML-N’s experts and think tank panel desired to maintain load shedding as per schedule from the second week of June and planning for the continuousness of electric feeders but “National Treasure is empty”
