London: Pakistan sprinter Liaquat Ali got fourth position in 100 meter Heat race at London 2012 Olympics racing event.
Liaquat Ali, 28 year old, suffered cramp injury a few days back but recovered soon, as his coach said.
Rabia Ashiq, 20 years old, is now the last athlete of Pakistan who will be running 800 meter race on Wednesday.
The poor performance of Pakistan athletes could also be attributed to bad weather at the host city, expert say.
“Throughout the Olympic gala, cold winds and weather change have affected the performance of Pakistan athletes showing a failure of the team management to adapted the players to London weather.”
