Seoul: Samsung Electronics look forward to beat its 2011 smartphone sales target thanks to brisk sales of its Galaxy smartphones.
The chief executive said during a press conference here on Monday that “We are pinning high hopes on achieving sales higher than our previous plan.”.
The product from the world’s largest technology firm by revenue suggests it is seeking to grab an early slice of the high-end phone/tablet market. This is a newer product with consumers until now looking to buy tablets or smartphones separately.
