Islamabad: The ICC Women World Cup Qualifiers that bring into action from Monday in Bangladesh will see ten nations to battle it out for the four remaining spots at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2013, to be held in India.
Pakistan will do battle in Group B along with West Indies, Ireland, Japan and hosts Bangladesh. The qualifiers will run from November 14-25.
Group A comprises Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zimbabwe, United States and Netherlands. The top four teams in the qualifiers will join top-ranked sides, England, Australia, India and New Zealand in the Women’s World Cup 2013 in India.
Pakistan team: Sana Mir (capt), Javeria Wadood, Nain Abidi, Bismah Maroof, Batool Naqvi, Nida Rashid, Asmavia Khokhar, Qanita Jalil, Marina Iqbal, Masooma Farooqi, Sadia Yousaf, Rabiya Shah, Kainat Imtiaz, Bibi Nahida.
