Peshawar: Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has said that Maryam Nawaz is Punjab’s Tiktoker Chief Minister; her performance is only for TikTok, she should serve the people instead of being a Tiktoker.
Addressing media outside a court, Gandapur criticized the administration led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Punjab, alleging a focus on social media platforms rather than addressing the populace’s pressing health needs.
Gandapur affirmed his determination to implement the reduced roti prices, signaling his readiness to relinquish his chief ministerial role if unsuccessful in achieving this objective. The KP Chief Minister said that roti is cheaper in KP than in Punjab; the PML-N ruled Punjab for 40 years but couldn’t even build a hospital where people could get treated.
He reiterated his administration’s efforts to introduce health initiatives, including the health card program, emphasizing a commitment to public welfare. He further stated that Maryam Nawaz should provide the public with health cards similar to those in KP.
Gandapur emphasized the necessity of adhering to prudent policies, cautioning against further experimentation with the nation’s welfare. He highlighted the repercussions of past governments, urging authorities to prioritize the nation’s interests over personal agendas.
“The nation cannot withstand further experimentation. The outcome of PDM-1 remains evident to all. Where has this country ended up? Let us refrain from plunging the nation into further obscurity,” he remarked.
“Everyone is well aware of the consequences of the caretaker government’s actions,” he continued, urging those in power to exercise wisdom and foresight in policy-making. “Consider the well-being of the nation.”
“Let us refrain from engaging in additional experiments, including the London plan,” he emphasized. “The public is suffering from inflation; their plight must be taken into account.”
