Muhammed Hafiz caught By FBR, Bank Accounts seized

LAHORE – Star Pakistani All-rounder, Mohammed Hafeez stuck in a controversy for not paying taxes. It is reported that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notify him several times but he did not pay tax.

FBR officials said that Muhammad Hafeez is defaulting on the amount of Rs 4.2 million.

“As a result, Hafeez’s three accounts have been frozen in the first phase. He could be arrested if he did not pay the tax,” the FBR officials said.

Media reports said that FBR also seized Misbah ul Haq’s bank accounts, but he rejected the reports as baseless.

The FBR also said that as soon as more revelations about incomes, expenses and tax frauds from other cricketers and officials of the national team came into the limelight, more relevant action will be taken against them.
