KARACHI: Senior Superintendent Police Malir Rao Anwaar has been removed from his post following his press conference in which he leveled allegations on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
According to Sindh police spokesperson, Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali has issued the orders to remove him from the post and ordered him to report at central police office.
During the absence of Rao Anwar, Pir Muhammad Shah has been given additional charge of the post.
On the other hand Rao Anwaar said that he hasn’t received any notification yet.
It is pertinent to mention here that he has leveled allegations on MQM and asked Pakistan government to band the political party.
