Guard guns down three traders in Lahore

LAHORE: A security guard killed three traders in an apparent attempt to revenge his sacking from the duty here on Wednesday, claim police officials.

Police officials said that the guard of a car showroom in Faisal Town opened fire at the owners to take revenge as he had been recently dismissed from the duty over negligence.

Malik Shafqat, Adeel and the third trader were taken to Jinnah Hospital. However, all three succumbed to their wounds at the hospital.

The suspect fled away from the site on a motorcycle and is still at large. The police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspect.
Meanwhile, the traders and shopkeepers of the area have staged a protest demonstration to denounce the heinous crime.
